Significant Personal Injury Matters

Personal Injury cases regularly handled by our firm include Automobile Accidents, Interstate Truck Crashes (link to trucking page), Motorcycle Accidents, Construction Site incidents, Nursing Home Injuries (link to Nursing Home page) and Premises Liability Accidents.

Premises Liability law involves accidents occurring on commercial, industrial, public, or private premises, including injuries or deaths as a result of slip and falls, negligent security and supervision or falling merchandise.

Product Liability and Product Safety cases handled by our firm include those involving industrial machines, motor vehicles and their component systems, helmet failures, conveyors, electrical tools, exercise and playground equipment, household appliances and food products.

We limit our representation to those who have sustained a permanent or serious injury.  While we understand and generally agree with the concept that people injured through the negligence of others are entitled to compensation, the time required for a properly prosecuted legal action, along with the costs of litigation, makes it economically unfeasible to pursue every case.
Examples of serious or permanent injuries include brain injuries (TBI-traumatic brain injury), burns and skin injuries, amputations, fractures (broken bones), dislocations, spinal cord injuries, back and neck disc injuries, animal bites, severe lacerations, torn ligaments, complex regional pain disorder (RSD), and carpal tunnel syndrome.

At the early stages after a crash, wreck, or accident, it is often difficult to determine whether injuries are serious or permanent.  Individuals who spend the first days after an accident in the hospital might only sustain a temporary injury, while someone who goes a few days without treatment might eventually require surgery.  However, anyone who is hurt should not postpone treatment.  Even if the accident is your fault and you have no right to sue, don’t put your health second.
