Lawrence M. Simon, Esq.
Lawrence Simon, in addition to the time he spends working for his clients, stays active in Bar and Trial Lawyer Associations. He is the Chair of the Section Leaders Council of the American Association for Justice (“AAJ”), Past Chair of the AAJ Small Firm and Sole Practitioner Section, and Newsletter Editor for the AAJ Interstate Trucking Litigation Group. He is an active member of the New Jersey Association for Justice (“NJAJ”), and serves on its Board of Governors. Lawrence Simon is a frequent lecturer for AAJ and NJAJ on topics that include trucking litigation, trial practice, and technology in the courtroom. He is also a Trustee of the Bergen County Bar Association, and a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and the New York State Trial Lawyer’s Association. He is also the author of the “Library of the New York Personal Injury Firms,” published by the New York Law Journal, and has written chapters for Lexis Nexis on “Technology in the Courtroom” and “Governmental Liability.”Marguerite Simon
Marguerite Simon, during her twenty years in the Judiciary, presided over civil cases for ten years, and spent her last seven years as Presiding Judge of General Equity. Paterson born, and a graduate of Barnard College and Virginia Law School, the retired Judge began her practice on Wall Street, and was the first woman to work for her employer. She later opened offices in Oradell, concentrating in commercial real estate and estate matters. She was appointed to the bench in 1984 by Governor Kean, and re-appointed for tenure by Governor Florio. She is the co-editor of “New Jersey Trial, Post-Trial, and Appellate Proceedings,” published by Lexis Nexis, and author of the book’s chapter on Bench Trials.
